November extra-curricular activities

Tree Week

Dear parents,

We are celebrating the "Tree Week"so we will talk about why trees are important for our Planet and how can we protect them.

     We are going to have a lot of fun activities related to the theme for example:

·         having a trip in the park where we will collect leaves, acorns, twigs, chestnuts;

·         On Wednesday we are going to the pottery workshop where we will make clay pots and we will paint them.

     We are going to experiment nature with our senses (visual, auditory, touching, smelling, hearing) and to describe our feelings related to nature, especially trees.

·         talking about the recycling process and even to put it in practice using found materials.

·         drawing and painting all kind of trees

·         making a collage out of leaves, and twigs, acorns, pine corns

·         playing fun games like: “Hide and Seek”, “Find the treasure”, “Follow the footprints”

·         playing in the mud

·         reading stories about our trees and our Planet.

Pottery Workshop

A trip to the Train Workshop

Dear parents,

Our 4-5 year old children ( Red Class and Blue Class) have visited the Train Workshop.
They had the chance to listen to interesting information regarding the history of trains and railways, to look at different old photos , to play with train models and built their own ones out of paper and cardboard.

A trip to Enescu Museum

Green Class had a lovely day visiting  Enescu Museum. Our children had the opportunity to become orchestra managers,to play the violin or to join into different musical games and build up confidence by singing and playing in front of their friends and teachers .

Tria's Greenhouse- feedback

It was a great day for all of us ! We enjoyed getting messy and playing with soil but we are so proud of our great work !
Dear parents, please help us take care of out plants at home as we worked really hard !!!!
We are looking forward for our next trip !

Tria's Greenhouse

Dear parents, on Friday 30th of September we are going to visit Tria's greenhouse.

Leaving time: 9.30 from Springfield( the coach will wait for us in front of the nursery school).
Return time: 12.30-13.00
During this time the children will have the opportunity to visit the greenhouse and learn about different kinds of flowers, to plant their own flowers and have lots of fun.
Cost: 35 RON ( for people who paid for the zoo trip there isn't an additional cost).
